Dear, I am very weak in maths, and an average student in Physics. In GIKI, my best marks were in HM and arts courses...
In GIKI many arts courses were included in our syllabus e.g

1) Sociology and human behavior,
2) Ethical and legal Dimensions of engineering (include law concepts),
3) English language and communications skills,
4) Technical Report writing ,
and off course 5) Pak study and 6) Islamiyat.

So arts subjects is a good option/choice for me...

@But why are people reluctant to take these subjects:

For me :

1) Risk factor: In arts you can get average marks if you have 50 percent idea, knowledge about any particular concept. but in science either 0 or full marks...

2) Syllabus: E.g,

In Business admin : There are questions regarding marketing, HRM and finance portion, so think how many books one need.

In computer too same situation.

In Maths, Physics, Statistics also same situation. The course is very bulky.

3) Easy : The arts papers are easy as compared to science.

4) Helps in Compulsory papers:
The arts subjects helps us in compulsory papers while science subjects don't...
