Those who have filed petition in HIgh court for grace marks, there petition have been rejected by high court by giving reference to supreme courts previous orders about the issue of grace marks.The Court also held that the papers be rechecked of those candidates and ordered the commission authorities not to declare the result for 20 days.

Dear friends I have been watching & reading this grace marks issue for the last few weeks in this thread. Well let me clear it to all of you once for all.

Actually in the PMS 2008 Batch, many candidates of the grace marks were interviewed and 2 among them were selected at the instance of Peshawar High court but later on they were terminated at the last stage of their training.

One thing more which you people are mixing up with the grace marks issue is that there were some other candidates who were also inducted in that Batch through court order and who are still performing their duties in different areas of KPK as a PMS Officers. Actually these candidates were of the PAPER-INTEGRATION Case which is also valid and applicable at federal level in CSS. Paper Integration case is totally different from grace marks issue.

Paper integration basically means that if a candidate e.g in his General Paper fails in current affair paper and his aggregate marks in GK are above 120 then he will be considered as passed.

2ndly if a candidate e.g in his Indo-PAK/Pol.Scie or any other 200 marks optional paper fails in either paper1 or 2 but his average marks in it qualifies the passing range then he will also be considered as a pass candidate.

3rdly if a candidates fails in an optional paper but his aggregate marks excluding the marks of that failed paper, are above 600 then he will also be considered as a passed candidate.
Note: All these three cases are valid and applicable in CSS at federal level as well.

Hence keeping in view these points the 6 or 8 candidates were allowed to join the PMS batch while the grace marks candidates were terminated ultimately.

I think this issue will now be crystal clear to all of my honorable KPK members.

why the court ordered the commission not to declare the result for 20 days? I mean what will happen in 20 days?

For rechecking the under discussion applicants papers and if in case they qualify the written then their interviews will be arranged within the given timeframe (20days).

But those applicants have already applied for rechecking in the beginning but were not successful. those candidates having more than 700 marks were failed even after rechecking....

When was result expected normally if there would have been no court delay?
