Hmmm....my saying in earlier posts has been proven authentic.
This is a good news for all aspirants and provide us two opportunities.One, increased seats will enhance the selection opportunities, 2nd, apmle amount of time will be available for preparation.
Good luck all.

We only care for the advertisement of PMS. These delays and excuses gain no importance...
The matter of fact is that PMS adv is impossible in September and rare chances of next PMS before CSS 2013...

@ALL:
Can anyone tell me the activities of PMS 2011 officers?
What are they doing nowadays?

Can you please tell us about the IMSciences 6 months training program?
I think its compulsory before the posting in secretariat etc (i.e before the starting of professional career). Also, I saw in the newspaper (Dawn or daily Mashriq) that the new Governor Mr. Masood Kosar sugegested to make the PMS training more fruitful by adding more things and by extending the PMS duration timing from a year almost to 2 or more (just like CSS).
Am I right?

The previous batch of PMS officers was trained in IM Scinces. but we are being trained in PAkistan Provincial Services academy. It is for 6 months.

No, i have not yet heared about the Governors decision to extend the training period for 1 or 2 years. 6 months are more than enough for imparting training to PMS officers.

I am pretty much sure that previous PMS 2008, 68th batch were trained in Pak Rural Academy(PRA) and then in IMSciences(both).

yeah you are right they were imparted training in IMS. But in our schedule we are going to be posted after 26th with no time specified for training in IMS.

As DG(NIM) said that 6 months are more than enough for training to PMS Officers. it is officially obligatory to complete 6 months training, otherwise we have completed our all modules.
