age relaxation
i came across nwfppsc

can any one plz tell waht does this rule mean... i am copying it here
8. Age Relaxation:- All administrative Departments are competent to grant age relaxation upto 02 years whereas Services and General Administration Department is competent to deal with cases beyond 2 years. Minimum age limit, however, cannot be relaxed in any case.

Its means that, if u apply for a post & that post belongs to a specific Department (e.g. Education) & you are overage up to 2 years, then in that case you requested for age relaxation to the Head of that Department, but if your are overage more than 2 years then you requested for age relaxation to the Head of the Services and General Administration Department (Now it Calls Establishment & Administration Department), which allow age relaxation up to 5 years, if one is eligible.

Age Limit:- 21-30 Years
Govt: Servants, who have completed at least 2 years of continuous service in the Government on the closing day of submission of applications, shall be entitled to 2 years optimum relaxation. Two years age relaxation is allowed to disable persons and candidates from backward areas.

is someone who is 30 yrs and 1 or 2 or 3 or so months old on closing date, considered overage?/ is there any waY that person can appear in exam??

As per rules if a person is overage by one single day s/he will not be considered.

If He / She overage of one day, must apply for age relaxation to the concerned Department.

thanks for both replies...both of you have contradict opinion...bt its unfair and Disheartening if Xeric is right...due to PSC delays many have been and still many more will be victim of this..
