All those candidates who will qualify the PMS Exam will be allocated in two groups. One will be provincial secretariat and other Provincial DMG. There will be no other advertisement for Provincial DMG. Those who will be posted in Secretariat ,assume the charge as Section Officer while rest of the candidates will be posted as DDO(R),DDO(F),Secretary public safety commission,APA etc. ( these all are Provincial DMG posts)

We hope for the best. I wish that it should be on merit. But administration has discretionary power to allocate officers. Establishment has asked us to submit our preferences regarding posting in Secretariat or Provincial DMG. Except the residents of peshawar, especially girls, all will prefer to join Provincial DMG.

i am unable to understand why is it so that there has been kept so much difference in facilities for the pms officers working in diffeerent departments,i mean to say why all pms officers prefer dmg and not secretariat, although principally all should have same priorities and all of them are given the same pay, then what iz it which attracts candidates towards dmg,.what are the duties of a dmg officer.imean assistant commissioner,as we hear this word in our day to day life v rarely.secretariat job is equally v comfortable and graceful, have much less tensions than DMG OFFCERS.

There is no such discrimination in posts of secretariat or Provincial DMG as you are perceiving. Both are prestigious. Those who want their posting in Provincial DMG,actually want to serve in their own districts. People have their own issues and concerns so we can not blame any one for his/her preference or choice.

IFFAT AMBREEN

Madam I want to ask you something about your batch recent postings.

Dont you think that merit has not been followed in allocations? I know few of the allocated Additional AC's and their family background very well. For example, Mr. Aziz Ullah Jan is a son of a Police Officer, Mr. Riaz Khan, who is one among many KHAAS-O-KHAAS of ANP and I remember the days of their interviews when his father was almost daily visiting the commission office for his son( I used to visit the PCS office for collecting questions from candidates for my sister, who was among the written qualifiers).

Yesterday I read about your batch allocations/postings and was surprised to see a number of Additional AC's from the lower merit. Will you please share your views about it?
