How to attempt a paper?
Seniors, new aspirants including me would like to know answers of some basic questions that we have in our minds. It would be very kind of you if you could spare us a few minutes of you precious time.
i) suggested length of an answer (in sheets which includes both sides of the paper)? ii) outline or not? iii) headings or without headings? iv) space between the lines or how many words per side of the sheet? v) can we draw a line and leave some margins at header, footer, and gutter position? vi) size of the paper? A4...? vii) type of the paper, rough or fine quality? whether it is safe to use pointer because if used on rough paper, it leaves marks on the backside. Thanking you in advance for your time. P.S. Please don't answer it if you haven't taken any exam before. Thanks |

It depends, if five question to attempt e.g in Sociology (3 hours for subjective, no objectives) then give 50 minutes to first question 40 to second question 30+30+30 to the remaining three If four question to attempt e.g in Pashto ( 2 and half hour for subjective) the give 45 40 35 30 minutes Outline is important only for essay. use heading if you know the exact answers, otherwise avoid headings. Just like Peshawar university answer sheet Very rough quality even of more poor quality than Peshawar university answer sheet. Rough sheet so avoid pointer, ink point. Use ball point black for headings and blue for answers.

Dear i've never seen the sheet that is provided in Peshawar University but i've taken a test of KPKPSC last month. The sheet that was provided was very rough and yellowish in colour. Is that the one you're referring to?
I am a little confused about your answer regarding length of an answer. Why give more time to the first question and diminish it as we proceed further? Why this unequal distribution of time? Is it because we need slightly more time to get in the rhythm or the answer to the first question should be lengthier as compared to others? And one last question. What's the expected date of PMS exam? A friend of mine told me that the exam will commence in March right after CSS. He said he talked with someone from inside the KPKPSC. Do you have any authentic news as i am unwilling to believe this news from him because there have been many such news in the past that proved to be wrong, despite the fact that the source was KPKPSC official? Regards. |
