My heartiest congratulations to all qualified candidates. Though I wasnt a candidate for this post but some of my friends had applied for it. They have shared concern that after such transparent procedure in the beginning for selection (i.e. NTS TEST), why such mysterious selections in the end.
Explanation: Why wasnt the NTS given the authority to add academic marks weightage, given that NTS does it often, and the IMU ESE kept it with itself.
Secondly, after the results declared on 24-01-2014, why the said department hasnt published the merit list of candidates? It appears that something is fishy regarding the final selection and rumors are there that students who were well down in the list (as well as 2nd divisions in academics) were alloted some posts.
If the PTI led government is claiming "CHANGE", it must show transparency in whole selection process. Yes, it is much better than previous government where posts were sold even before its advertisement. Given all the fair touches to the selection of candidates for this post, why is such mystery being created in the end? It appears though as if the PTI govt is just wearing the "OVERCOAT"(GHULAM ABBAS'S CREATED FICTION CHARACTER)
and inside all is the same as previous government left behind.
I am sure All candidates on this forum have been selected on basis of merit but there are others who have suffered in the end due to Nepotism of IMU KPK ESE. The purpose of mentioning it here was just to raise concern regarding TRANSPARENCY and FAIRNESS of E&SE KPK (which comes under PTI EDUCATION MINISTER).
My apologies to all those selected who are in anyway offended by this post.

Najeeb, care to share the details of the "great" training?

After all its Pakistan and they had to bring some favourite people up on the merit list...
i had 80 marks in the NTS test but only 3 marks in interview, and domicile marks not awarded to me.... now i m at the bottom of the merit list ,,,,,,
so that is their criteria.... Still i am not dissapointed from my God's blessings...

A minister cannot do all thing himself... the formula of marks weightage is chosen by the official not the PTI Govt....

Saddened to hear that brother but inshaALLAH something better will be waiting for you. True that brother but we all now how these officials are approched by Ministers and other high ups. PTI government can atleast direct them to publish FINAL MERIT LIST. Bargaining was done but not that much as was evident in previous regime.

I think members stopped responding to this thread after my comments regarding MUKMUKA (perceived violation of merit) by E&SE Dept KPK in selection of candidates. Anyways carry on with your usual discussion. I didnt mean to startle anyone with my comments, and again apologize for such hard (but not harsh comments. Allah bless every candidate who was selected on merit.

Dear Friends As you all know that basic qualification for this post was BA/BSc but all the selected candidates are well qualified even some of the selected persons are Phd candidates in various universities. some are engineers and so on. in short all the selected persons are professional degree holders so we all must raise voice so that the Govt only change the name of the post i.e Monitoring and Data Collection officers instead of assisstants
