Well I called a week before to Etea office regarding the test pattern.

The answer was
Test will include 40% general and 60% subject.

The general portion will further include questions from maths, Pakistan study, eds, Islamist and English.

There will be 100 mcqs.

PAPER FORMAT:

60 % = SUBJECTIVE (from subject)
40 % = GENERAL (ISLAMIYAT, ENGLISH, EVERY DAY SCIENCE, PAK-STUDIES)
TOTAL MCQs = 100
TOTAL MARKS = 400
PASSING MARKS = 50 %
TIME = 75 MINUTES
NEGATIVE MARKING = YES (-1)

number of question will be 200 not 100.... it is said by etea officials and website instruction page

ETEA HED TEACHING ASSISTANT TEST 2014 RE-SCHEDULED.

The test will now, be held on 27 of this month.

Also, the second shift timing has been changed.
Under the new arrangement test for the second shift will now start at 11 am.

talked with HED personnel(091 9210242) he said there are 900 posts,selection would be district based,and the whole process would complete before 10 august.lists would be displayed on ETEA site.so cheer up.
