Actually we want to know exact zone wise number (I don't think zone 4 have such high number as you mentioned) plus how the seats will be allocated? will it be straight forward merit in which the top 9 will be allocated to merit and in rest persons high on merit from each zone will be allocated OR there would be 24/24 blocks as mentioned by some fellows above?

Merit for zone-2 would be high (traditionally) due to the following reasons:
1. Densely populated zone (Peshawar, Charsadda, Mardan, Nowshera and Swabi.
2. Availability of higher education institutions.
3. The aforementioned things cause concentration of educated lot in this zone having direct influence on merit determination.
4. Exposure to the life styles of bureaucrats and other well-placed officials.

Thanks for the detailed answer dear.

The provincial governmental machinery is located in the premises of zone-2, you see students riding their papa's, mama's, bro's or sis' official vehicle-attitude of the traffic wardens towards them makes them enviable for the rest. If a son/daughter of a well placed guy founds himself/herself in trouble-the solution is just one phone call-everybody wish for these sorts of privileges and vie to become a PMS/CSP, most of the businesses are located in this zone-doing a business without having the bureaucracy on one's side is next to impossible, it's proximity to the federal capital-where the fate of 188.20 millions people is decided etc. etc., so, the societal pressure is more intense in this zone. You won't find any sort of difficulty in comprehending this point if you read between the lines please!
