Less or more almost same number of candidates qualified from zone 5. So inspite of close competition, candidates from zone 5 have less competition as compared to other zones.

Is this just a rumor or regular commission exercise that aspirants from ZONE-02 are treated DIFFERENTLY in preparation of final allocation merit list....?
If yes, what is the reason?

No!
Merit for zone-2 would be high (traditionally) due to the following reasons:
1. Densely populated zone (Peshawar, Charsadda, Mardan, Nowshera and Swabi.
2. Availability of higher education institutions.
3. The aforementioned things cause concentration of educated lot in this zone having direct influence on merit determination.
4. Exposure to the life styles of bureaucrats and other well-placed officials.
