Planning officer in science and technology and i.t department.
Result of the written exam of Planning officer Adv#01/2014 serial# 71 has been announced..
Can someone please tell me what procedure KPPSC will follow to shortlist candidates for 3 posts: i.e one open open merit, and one to each zone 1 and zone 2. Also,i would be obliged if any senior shed lights on the nature of the said job |

If this is so, then it is quite unjust. The candidate with higher marks would be competing with nine candidates on a single seat. While, those with lower marks would be competing with less candidates on single seat. Thus, the one with the highest marks should urge the KPPSC to deduct some marks from him so as to place him in quota seat competition. What a stupid and unjust rule of the KPPSC i.e. the so-called quota-system.

called for merit seat would be called for Zonal seat too or not as on merit seats he may face tougher competition. |

Bro I don't know about the merit my score is 67 from zone 2..there were probably 1100 candidates who took the test ...according to my calculations open merit closes on 70 marks and there were 2 person who scored 70..i guess both of them will be considered in open merit ..then zone 2 merit starts from 69 , there is one person scored 69 ,2 person 68 and 4 person scored 67..now don't know what procedure they followed in making 68 merit for zone 2

Bro! they don't call two candidates per seat, they, in fact, call about five to 10 candidates per seat. You can just look at the trend in the recent August interview schedule on the KPPSC portal. And, if that's your position in the test then you will surely be called for interview, IN SHA ALLAH.[/QUOTE]
Thanks bro I hope it's the case

I got the highest marks (80) in this test. From zone 5, therefore competing for the only merit seat. Fingers crossed...

Actually, I was disappointed upon hearing that I couldn't make it to the next phase so these questions couldn't find place in my mind |
