Wil anybody please share their interview for the post of Assistant Superintendent Jail?

my interview is on 30 May, have no idea what they'll ask.

In the ppsc interview about ASJ they asked about Jail reforms,history of prisons in the world,different kinds of jail in punjab and surprisingly many candidates were asked questions related to different kind of taxes.

What about your zone and test marks? be prepared for some tough questions, the panel is very aggressive 😊

After entry into the room, Khalid Masood Sb looked at my file and told me that you are a highly qualified person why do you want to join a department where you would hardly be promoted to the rank of superintendent. He also gave me other free advices to join some other private universities as a lecturer or continue with the same job. Then he asked me to introduce myself. I started imdroducing myself but when I reached university level education, he interfered and started asking about energy crisis with special reference to KP. He discussed the issue in detail along with presenting his own opinion too. The he handed me over to departmental representative who asked a few question just as a formality and then the third member started to ask some questions. He asked about my CSS optionas and questioned me in international law. geography was also touched a bit. Economic profile of Pakistan was also discussed.

ZONE 5, what kind of questions were asked by departmental person? did he ask any thing about jail types, jail reforms, history of jails, responsibilities of ASJ, crimes & criminals types etc? & did he ask any questions related to your subject? by the way what is your qualification & zone? & how many candidates were there?

He usually asks straight forward questions like I was asked about what is a central jail, a district jail and how many sub jails are there in KP. You just should have some basic knowledge about the department and duties of Asstt Suptt. You can prepare it from prison department's website. I have an engineering degree so he asked questions related to energy crisis.

Interviews are over, any idea how much time it will take for result announcement.

KPPSC usually takes two to four days to announce result once the interviews are over. Best of luck to all.
