DSPs in KP Police
Up to 2001 there have been regular appointments in KP Police through Public Service Commission Exam but after 2002 there have been no appointments in KP Police as DSP which resulted in huge loss in the efficiency of the Police. Often it has been under discussion since the last couple of years that the previous Police Order will be revived. In the same regard KP government formed a committee under the chairmanship of IGP KP. But after that no result came out.
Government ought take solid steps in this regard to appoint DSPs directly through competitive exam from among highly qualified candidates. Thus an exemplary policing can be made. |

Yes you are right a little quota for civilians but it can be increased from 25% to 40% or 50% internal sources of KPSC.
Further there will be screening test like PMS and Tehsildar and after it there will be papers may be 6 or more. |
Usually recruitment in BPS-17 is 50% by initial recruitment and 50% by promotion. In this case 25% is an anomaly.
