Thank you for your response. Still two questions. First, which areas are considered as backward? Second, what is the rule for general candidates who are not employed, not disable and do not belong to backward areas ?

Backward areas are GB/FATA and FIR. I don't have the answer of your second question. also for your information in Competitive examinations like PMS, they give 2 years relaxation to only KP employees and not FGE.

Backward Areas: FATA, FR and PATA (Malakand Division et al.,). Pertaining to your second query, there's no age relaxation available to a common candidate.... P.S: I think the post of Mr. Psycho is comprehensive and very precise. Regards

Appreciated your reply. Would you like to guide me how might one apply for a post advertised by KPPSC requiring age relaxation if the person belongs to FATA/PATA?

You just need to let the commission know about your domicile through the commission's application form and by attaching your domicile certificate with that application. You don't need to furnish any extra documentary proof as this relaxation is automatic. Good luck!
