can anybody elaborate the duration of promotion and job description of junior scale stenographers? there is a job in the above mentioned ad and i want to apply for it if there are opportunities for promotion.

If you selected as Junior Scale Stenographer (BPS-12), then Establishment Department include your name in the seniority list & you promoted to Senior Scale Stenographer (BPS-15), when your name come in the promotion zone according to your seniority, same procedure continue up to the retirement. So, dont confuse yourself & apply it.

yes mesogynist..
i m agree with Mohsin Mushtaq brother...another thing that can mater is your education. if you have much education as this post require, it will make you priority candidate for promotion, and as your education level will raise brother, you will be promote...

and as you asked about the duration of promotion, so brother no one can sure about it..as a random guess, probably it can take minimum 1 year to maximum 5 years, its depend on your working strength,education, ability and experience..

selection on merit means the list formed in ascending order based on your marks, interview etc. In short, the position you get in compared to other competers.
selection by zone depents upon your domicile. the districte belonging to different zones are shown in the application form.

Yes. Moderators have done so in order to satisfy their ego. These moderators have done so quite a few times with me. They seem to have a dictatorial mindset which is stubborn against freedom of expression. They delete every kind of stuff which is disliked by them.

PSC Forms only available in NBP.
