Default Assistant Director Electrical (BPS 17) Local Government & Rural Development KPK
Dear all,

Has anyone applied to the post of Assistant Director Electrical in Local Government Elections and Rural Development Department of KPK?

Does anyone know about the complete process for this recruitment and if merit is considered all the way until appointment? Also, what is the scope of this job and what should we expect in terms of work, salary, facilities and perks etc?

Well I have heard mixed opinions, few suggested that the numbers of Job are more as local govt elections are about to take place, while some said that it's just one post.
Put it simply I don't know exactly.... though I hope they are some where from 20-40 ....
A lot of job less engineers out there haha....

Hmm.. I saw somewhere online that they have 25 AD posts. One for Accounts AD and since we have Civil, Planning and Electrical, they must be 8 each?
I hope the test is easy. Do you know anything about the interview? Do these posts have good respect and facilities?

Of course its a great post, well reputed. Its like PDA, you can be posted to Swat Development Authority, Karak and etc etc. Test will be moderate, not easy it will be course related not general like GAT ,
About the interviews I don't know if there were no sifarishat then I guess a general interview.
Interviews are generally how you present your self, doesn't have much to do with academics .

So it is not for Peshawar only? I wouldn't like to work in Swat or hard areas where the government cannot provide security. Where can we prepare for the test? Any ideas? I hope there are not very complicated questions.

Nop it's not for Peshawar, because its not urban development but rural development,
You can prepare foe the test by studying your engineering books fa level islamiat, some simple IQ questions and by having good english
70 mcqs will be from the electrical/civil/architecture depending to which you have applied, 15 from English, 10 inelegance and 5 islamiat mcqs

Dear -Friends,
total seats are 26 ... 01 for each district. Merit will be district based and top 3 or 4 will be called for interview....
