2. Do you agree that Umar bin Abdul Aziz was fifth pious Caliph? Discuss in the light of his reforms and achievements.

3. Give a detailed account of the social, political and economic institutions during the period of Khulafa e Rashidin.

4. Mamun’s Caliphate constitutes the most glorious rule of Islamic History. Discuss.

5. Explain in detail the literary and scientific activities during the reign of Abbasid of Baghdad.

6. Discuss the causes which led to gradual decline and final collapse of the Abbasid cliphate.

7. Write short notes on any three of the following:
a) Sulah Hudaibya
b) The Tragedy of Karbala
c) Princess Zubaidah
d) Tarigh Tabari (History written by Ibn e Jarir Tabari)
e) Barmakides.

5. Modern western civilization has a great impact on Muslim countries. How can we avoid this influence of western culture?
