Members! Pay heed to this.

I might sound rude now but I cant help it.

When will you grow up enough to realize what to post where? I don't see the reason why a member posts this in English Literature; Notes in Feedback; Subject Selection related posts in Discussion Forum; Degree Programs related issues in Off Topic Discussion; Accounting threads in Discussion Forum.

Rule number 7:

Users should use an appropriate title when posting a new topic. Examples of bad titles include: "Help me!", "I'm stuck!" etc. Examples of good titles include; "Need Help opting Subjects" etc.

See for yourself how many threads are there with such inappropriate titles. What idea do we get with these titles? NOTHING!

When will you learn to use this forum?

We will learn to abide by the rules when we start reading them. haha.....

You shouldn't expect that to happen ever... just increase the workforce of moderators I guess provided that you are able to find enough responsibile people :)

Na. We have a solution. Remove all misplaced threads and posts, and close Feedback Section. If members cant read the rules, if they cannot follow them, if making thread in relevant section is really hard for them, they have no right to complain.

No its not rude, and you are very right in this regard that proper titles should be given and rules should be followed. Even I personally never had any conflict with any decision of moderators but at times I feel moderators acting very rudely and in a very bad manner, specially two three moderators. I can just request you to be polite with people. Even there are defined rules and people should follow them, and moderators are to make sure that rules are implemented but still little flexibility and gentle behavior is requested from you. At times after reading moderators posts I feel like reading statements of some SHO.

Its really immaturity and stupidity, that despite having clear-cut instructions, don't bother to follow the same. Its shameful (even for me if im amongst them):(

We have always been polite and flexible but there is limit to everything. Members must avoid taking us to that limit.

I know this is going to put my reputation at stake but oh well... let me just say that I concur with Usman here. Not that I want to quote a precedent because frankly theres hasnt been one in which a moderator has behaved rudely with a member but I can just imagine that happening.

I firmly believe that respect is not something that should be demanded rather its something that should be expected. Now we all have had those moments in which we get a little mad and perhaps over-react so no worries.

But then again, I dont have any precedence to quote here and I think this rarely happens. But when its so easy to imagine members being stupid, why is it difficult to imagine moderators over-react? :)

In the end, a little compromise from moderators and alot discipline from members would keep the wheel rolling and new people will continue to benefit from the forum. Its a social service really, what moderators are doing.

Thread is made to ask members why cant they follow the rules, not to discuss mod's ultimate behavior towards them. Mods always have a reason for annoyance.

Well, I think its just our attitude, we are not in the habit of following law/rules. We blame others even our rulers, but dont look at our own. For this, we are castigated, punished, but dont bother to mend our ways. It just has become our attitude, an irresponsible one. :huh

one thing more i feel personally that peoples are just using cssforum just sack of time pass. many of threads are not at standard level, when i joined this forum it was very strict to css and every post is helpful. but now peoples just talking about here and there and posts are not approprietly sended to specific sections. peoples should show some responsibilty if they want to get more and more information from this prestigious forum beacuse if this forum loss its value it will be very bad for all of us and i think L I as number of users has increase so you should made some more moderators from existing members to keep this forum in its good shape.
