Dear CSS Forum Members,

Some of our friends from 40th Common has taken an initiative for the following noble cause:

'Helping the needy and cancer affected children at Shaukat Khanum Hospital/Facilitating poor patients or their families financially in getting medical treatment/Helping any needy student to pay his/her educational expenses etc.'

We are to raise funds for this noble cause. Although we have been trying to open a joint account for that purpose, yet due to some unavoidable circumstances, we haven't been successful sofar. However, we have decided to use an already opened account to avoid any further delay in collection of funds for the said cause.

(This Account holder is one of our friends Dr. Zeeshan Hanif who has served in Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital and now a member of 40th Common)

For the purpose of transparency, accountability and reconciliation, all the transactions in the account will be posted on this forum. The amount contributed by the end of Ramadan will be withdrawn to be utilized for the said purpose. Forum members can also identify any deserving person/family where funds can be utilized. We will purchases edibles/cloths/gifts etc two or three days before Eid and personally visit the Hospital to hand over the stuff to cancer affected children and their parents. Similarly, any leftover amount will be utilized for the education of deserving student(s).

Lastly, it is requested to all members to donate generously whatever amount (Rs. 100/200/500/1000 or more) they can contribute and also inform other people (friends/colleagues etc) about this cause so that maximum contributions may be received.

We have also requested for contributions on a Facebook Group (40th CTP) and upto now have received donations amounting to Rs. 47,000/- from different members.

May ALLAH bestow upon us the blessings of Holy month of Ramadan and guide us to help the poor and needy people so that they can also enjoy the pleasures of Eid! JAZAKALLAH!

Assalam o alaikum,
i am really thankful to CSS forum on behalf of 40th CTP people and myself that CSS Forum owners have participated actively in 40th CTP charity fund and donated 10,000 Rs for this noble cause.I am thankful to all moderators and owner of this page.JAZAKALLAH..So far we r able to collect 58,745 Rs for this noble cause.
