I am really very sorry dear as I hardly get any time to spent on Cssforum because of the hectic and busy schedule these days and this is why I was unable to reply you. But talking about your case I didn't got your last sentence as what you mean by wishful thinking. And as far as I am concern this is all you can do, to satisfy them in your response and soon they will come up with their final verdict on your case.

wishful thinking means i think i have got passed. I think that if i was failed they never have sent a letter on 30th sept. Bhai am I right?
