yes i have searched it in gooogle and yahooo but could not find satisfactory material,,,,,,,,,,,

yes i can wait for a week only after that i have to submit my assingment.

I think in programming... for calculations.... it is use.. and v can use probability.. probability has a main role in I.T.

@Sibga Khan,
Though the spectrum of I.T is very vast but if i say Statistics play a vital Role in I.T applications to the real world problems then its a cent percent right statement. The world of I.T in 21st century comes up with the concept of Quality Softwares/Products. The problem with Software Quality is that its not directly measureable so Software Project Managers need Statistical Analysis for best estimation of Project size and cost. Similarly Process Improvement Revolution in I.T industry including CMMI and Six Sigma techniques require Statistical Study of Software Project data and Measurement of Software Metrics. Data Mining, a major area of DataBase Programming includes Statistical Algorithmic study of data. In a nutshell wherever Measurement and Analysis is required in any discipline of I.T,Statistics play its best role.
