A web browser Problem.....

hi Members.

Recently, I installed Mozilla Firefox 2.0 due to some reasons, whereas I was using IE explorer before. now when I open a link from ma MSN (i.e. the INBOX link, Email or any other link), it opens automatically the previous IE explorer rather than the new one.

Is there any way out?

Regards
Surmount
well uninstall the mozilla and return back to previous IE...
Well thanks for suggestoin but
I could do that if it supported my Email site, youtube and a lot of other Flash/JAVA enabled contents. I have installed 9 version of Flash player for web and also the latest version of Java Virtual Machine, however it works well in Mozilla.

So what else would you suggest?

Well I am not sure but try this out it might work.

The links form msn messenger open in the IE because msn is from Microsoft and IE is Microsoft default browser. Uninstall the IE form your system if you don't need it any more, it might help.

Lemme know if it doesn't help.

If you want to keep both then....

Make FF your default browser.

Go to your FF settings and check if it is your default browser. at present. It might not be as apparent from your problem. In order to make it the one, go to:

Tools > Options > Main

There will be a checkbox,
"Always check to see if Firefox is the default browser on startup".

Check this option.

Again Thanks for response
But, it is set as default browser already.

Yep I know IE is the part of Microsoft Networks(MSN) but I need to open it up in Mozilla Firefox rather than in IE. And by the way, I was using a built-in IE version of Windows XP 2002, so it couldn't be uninstalled.

So, Or koi Hall?
:oooo

Now MSN asks for the Path where IE is located:laugh:

Yar I would have to change the settings of MSN to open the shortcut in Mozilla.

By the way, where are you?
