your ram capacity is not satisfactory you should increase it and windows xp 2007 is best and commonly use.

from your previous post what i guess, you are facing internet spead problem not Pc spead problem.. wel i dont know about your system configuration but 256 ram is good if you only use Pc for internet.. otherwise 512 will be handy for you but it depends upon what kind of services and software you are using..

wel internet spead problem.. this will be due to viruses.. have u installed any Antivirus? and also check the noise in your phone line..

use windows Xp service pack 2 .. !! not used a cracked version of windows .. use the standard Windows Xp of Microsoft..

ok yes i think it is virus some web does not open n does not respond.i have not instal anti virus it is said it curbs speed is it

Yes it curbs to some extent, but avast anti virus is very light.
If anti viruses use memory then they are saving your computer from malwares and from being used by other sites.
