oh ! It is Virus .... Your system is Infected.. now do one thing.. start your system in Safe mode... and Scan your System(all drives) in AvG..

in case or This Alert Come..1st choice is "'Heal"
otherwise Quartane (move to file)

by heal mean means Avg Try to Remove the Infection .. and if it was not able to do so then it will Move the File..

but there can be a chance that your system files are also Infected.. in this case avg might Delete System files.. which cause the File missing error in Windows Loading.. and aap ko phir new installation kerni pari gi..so keep this thing in mind..

no need to bother about changing security level, complete all your work so that the computer is free for a few hours (atleast) and run a complete scan (hope you know what is a complete scan); after complete scan is completed, remove all the viruses.

I have also used AVG anti-virus. Sometimes it gives false alerts. It gives alarm if there is unfamiliar file format or sometimes it declares some (.exe) files as virus. I have experienced it so many times.

@ Tooba Malik

can you please mention the name of that file which AVG declares as virus. It is written in the window which shows file detected. Please note down its complete path..

i am using AVG since three or four year .. i not found anything like that.. yes if you have installed AVG Firwall too then it will ask for Opening the port by an alert and wont allow any software to open any port without your notice..( avg can give the Alert of Suspected files but u cant say given false alert.. for this update you avg by time to time)
