it depends upon the purpose of work, if you are a student-like me- then deskjet is enough but buy a Laserjet, reason is that Laserjet toner last longs then deskjet ink and laserjet printer refill cost Rs.500, and with its original drum you can get around 25k-30k prints..

i will suggest HP LaserJet P1102 it will cost you around 10k.

But final decision is yours.

P.S: i had the HP deskjet D1560 printer, its new cartridges will cost 2.1k and laserjet cartridge will cost almost the same or less but it will get you more prints then latter..now i have a laserjet printer 1020 and i am totally satisfy with its performance.

hp laserjrt 1020,1018 is best coz it have small in size & easy to carry,price ov 2nd hand printer is apprx 7000-7500.

I think you are talking about colour printer..if so, then i will not suggest a printer for it, because it will require a serious maintenance, if you wont print a single page in a month or long, then colour in cartridge will become dry and you have you change the whole cartridge most of the time..just put your file in a USB and print it from any shop that colour printers.

If you still want buy then i will recommend desk jet printer one that is cheapest available in market .. because it will fulfill the purpose
