Need Help with Scope of Networking field with Cisco / Microsoft, comparative to ERP

can anyone tell me the scope of Networking (Cisco/Juniper etc) and System Administration (Microsoft / Linux) { as these both go in parallel in Pakistani job market}, A company will as a system admin to work as a network admin too
I want to know about long term scope about this field, as I heard and seen one needs to have a pile of certification in order to remain upto mark

now I want to compare this career with a carrer in ERP ( Enterprise Resource Panning), that is whether it is SAP or Oracle Apps
What is the scope or long term benefits from this field.

I want a job at this moment, but a job that I should make it a career.

[B]Network administrations and system administration is, in my opinion, far better than SAP / Oracle both in terms of earning as well as in terms of career growth..

And yes you will need a hell of certifications for that! one after the other!!![/B]
