Can anyone in the forum resolve it????????

Do you mean sound problem?? If yes then visit the site of the manufacturer-Hp, Dell- then download the sound driver according to your PC model..

if this didnt help then visit the realtek site and download the required driver..

let me know when you are done or encounter any problem..

Dear i downloaded the software and wanted to install it but unfortunately its not working at all. So kindly tell me the very secure way or process to install WINDOWS XP.I wanna install it last time by myself. Instead of that, if the problem persists, I shall get it solved from a professional technician.

sikander marri Wednesday, January 09, 2013 05:57 PM

You know how to install windows then there is no need to take it to some PC technician, you are asking your problem from a technician right now :dd (wase bhe apne peero ko kon manta hai :) ) and its just a minor problem

go to my computer (right click) properties> device manager > sound. See if there is exclamation on any driver, if not then

I will recommend to download windows Xp (S2 or S3) form any torrent site you like. Then burn it via any disk burner application, I will say Nero 9..(its easy to burn disk, if not then google it)

After the disk is ready, the rest of the process is same, insert the disk and install. then install sound driver..if that still dont work..then check your computer hardware and especially the speaker wires and sound jack..

thanks for your kind reply dear. I didn't know that you are yourself a technician. Anyways, I have bought WIN XP disc from the shop so kindly guide me to install it appropriately.

I am having problems in upgrading my internet explorer and flash player... please help

sikander marri Saturday, January 12, 2013 03:08 AM

@ Asif
first of All back up everything from windows drive i.e C: (or move then to another drive) or you will lose everything that is stored in windows drive.

Bro, insert the disk and restart the PC, when bios prompts for ''Press any key to boot from disk'', press any key then it will initialize the first step for windows install..

Now this part is tricky, you have to format that drive, in which the windows is installed (windows drive only NOT any other drive) format the windows drive by quick NTFS format and install a fresh copy of windows..then wait for the installation to finish, when it finishes it will restart the PC ..This time DONT press any key when it prompts for ''Press any key to boot from disk''..

Rest of the process is easy, like asking time, location PC name etc..

When windows instillation finishes, it will restart the PC, now you may eject the windows disk, and insert any drivers disk instead..(but i will recommend to download drivers from Internet)

I hope so and InshAllah you problem will be solved..

@venomous sophie

why not use Google chrome or Firefox instead, these are better then Internet explorer..But if you want to keep the old browser to work, then Uninstall it, if its not updating and download the latest internet explorer form their site..

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/internet-explorer/download-ie

download the flash player from the site given.

http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/?promoid=JZEFT

if you have installed the Flash Player and having problem in watching the flash player content then Enable the flash player addon in the settings..

Tools>Manage Addon> extension > Shockwave Flash Object then Enable it if its disable..

Let me know when you are done.

my flash player is installed but it aint getting updated to the latest version :( and yes i have installed Firefox and Google chrome but cant uninstall internet explorer
and more over m having a trouble in opening user account.. when i open it , the window goes blank

sikander marri Saturday, January 12, 2013 06:19 PM

Which browser your are using most of the time? is it IE(intenet explorer)? then you have to Install the lastest IE from the link I have given before..This may solve the white screen problem at login..I never encountered login problem in firefox and chrome.

and for Flash player its solution is simple, if its not updating then simply remove it from Program and Feature in the control panel, and Download the lastest flash player from the link I mentioned in prvious post..

hope this will work..Feel free to ask if this didnt help.

Internet Explorer can't be updated unless you have genuine windows installed in your computer.

dms664 Sunday, January 13, 2013 10:51 AM

Right click my computer
Select device/hardware manager
Now look for your audio card or chip if it is normal or marked yellow. In any case click it and update driver and hopefully it will solve your problem. In sha Allah

I recommend you to install IE from a CD disk rather than from a website.

To uninstall internet explorer in windows xp go to control panel->add remove programs->add remove windows components, find and uncheck internet explorer in the list. In windows 7 goto control panel->programs and features->turn windows features on or off, find and uncheck internet explorer in the list.

Brother.... Internet Explorer is too slow. First of all i think you should remove it. Use proper Browser like Firefox, Chrome, Safari.

Dear Im having problem in downloading anything i.e software, file, clip etc.
The problem is when the download reaches at 99.99%, it is suddenly being stoped and failed. Can u identify the dilemma?

I use IDM as well as Flashget 3.7 both.
Problem happens with both of the softwares.

Verify whether you have enough free space on root drive (i.e. windows installation drive). Try running scandisk if free space is not an issue.
