Whenever I receive any attachment in facebook inbox I am unable to download it. When I click on download, it shows blank page and download does not starts at all. I have tried IE, chrome and firefox but still the result is same. But when I tried it on my friend's computer the file downloaded successfully.

Can anyone help m in this issue please ?

Do you have download managers installed? Maybe that is causing problem, try right clicking and save target as

You may try upgrading idm to the latest version :)). There can be many other reasons for your problem but for the moment let's stick with these solutions and see if it works.

When i have disabled idm then the default download system should work like it does for other websites but it doesnt. So may be it is not due to idm version. I will try the firewall sug and lets hope it works

Hope you are not using proxy software to use facebook.

Try upgrading your browsers, you might be using older versions. Or try clearing cache of all browsers (this was the first thing to do, but I assumed you might have done it already :) ).

Try this on firefox, when using facebook right click in an empty area and choose view page info, a menu will appear having automatic downloads in the bottom, verify everything is set to always allow
