I have an account of HBL, today I wanted to withdraw some amount. Hence, I withdrew 23k but did not get my amount out of ATM. Because the ATM gave an error like link low or error, although I attempted thrice to withdraw but it did not work. Now I have come to know while checking my online internet account that I have withdrawn 23k from MCB. How is it possible!

Bankers are requested to help me out, I will highly appreciate. Particularly, let me know why it happens, while I was trying to withdraw my amount at that time they were starting their generator and ATM got started on generator not on regular electricity. May be this problem is due to that or may be it is a software error! Don't know what to say as I am not an expert of such things. I just know that I have lost my half salary.

The aim of this thread is that now should we stop withdrawing our amounts from ATMs! In this country not politicians but ATMs are also corrupt!

its not a big deal brother. just dial your HBL help line number and tell them your issue with specific date place and amount and dial help line with your registered number i mean the number you gave it to HBL they will launch your complaint and will give you complaint number i had same issue couple of times with UBL i did the same thing they gave my money back at the end of the month and gave me call that i received it or not..... so chillax nothing to worry about...

I made the call to HBL, they are saying "Janab aap wait farmaea 24 hours may amount reverse hojaega". Let's see but this is ridiculous. I came from bazar without my Eid shopping.

ok that's good if they said in 24hrs. waisay 24hours means 24 working hours???

dear one thing you should know , Maximum one time transaction limit is 20,000 Rs on all ATMs.... you may do another for more...:-)

I withdrew 23k in intervals, read my thread again. 15k day before last day, and the previous 2 withdrawn are also included. Total withdraws have been 23k even more than 23k. Today I went to my branch and filled a form for claim. As per manager, I have to wait for a week. Let's see but their service is really bad. On the other hand in same ATM, Twice my payoneer master card is captured.

Brother, don't worry. On the eve of previous Eid , i had confronted the same issue. Like you, i called the main branch and the customer officer informed me to wait for 24 hrs. I waited as directed, and They reversed my transaction amount then within 24hrs(next working day). Hope your bank would reverse ur amount soon.
Ps: my bank is MCB.

if it is not reversed then you need to visit your branch in which you have the very account and fill out a form "dispute settlement form". this form then will be sent to atm link karachi by your branch.the process take 15days. and please remember donot use atm of other banks with MCB's atm, there system is different.i.e mnet not visa or 1link

I have filled up my form yesterday,so far they the amount has not been reserved. I have learnt a good lesson to not use MCBs ATMs.

please take followup on regular basis otherwise it will take too much time.
and after sending form amount must be transferred within 7days.try to ask directly from manager branch
