Yes you can apply for Ma English. Yes it can help you every where specially in teaching jobs. There is a huge demand of English teachers. You being a master of two different fields will have edge on others. But in mu suggestion instead of doing double masters do M.phill in economics. Its not the era of masters and double masters unless you wanna teach in schools only.

As I can see your English is not very good so M.A English will help you if you plan to appear in any competitive exam, such as CSS. However, if your motive is to get 'any' kind of job then I'd strongly recommend you to go for M.Phil Economics. There is a huge number of M.A economics but very few people go for M.Phil and PhD. So, if you were good in economics and want to consider it as future career then you must go for M.Phil in economics. You will be in better position to get any lecturer or other job.

P.S: I am M.A economics student as well and have plans to go for M.Phil

There is one big misconception about MA English. Its a Masters degree in Literature, not in English Language. If one's English is not good, one cannot pass even one paper of English Literature.

True that. But obviously she would have to improve her English skills in order to pass exams and the process will improve her general English skills. Maybe I am wrong but I think that's the reason most people opt for MA English that reading and understanding complex syllabus will improve their vocabulary, grammar and writing skills etc., While others have genuine interest to study literature.

No dear, you are not getting me. You have to improve the language before going for literature. Vocabulary will get better with the passage of time but right now, you need to improve your sentence structure and tenses. Without it, you won't be able to attempt any paper successfully.

For example:

The title of this thread is "Need help urgent" which is wrong. It should be "Need help urgently" or "Need help, urgent please" or "Need urgent help". (By the way, according to the rules of forum, this is a bad title. :pp Title should be meaningful and comprehensive.)
scond reason is ,
You have used "Firstly" in first sentence. Therefore, it should be "Secondly" instead of "second reason is" in your next sentence.
i do'nt afford m phill and regullar education at this time .but in futur .....
I can't afford the expenses of M Phil or of regular education at this time but in future.....

P.S.: I am not criticizing; just correcting you. :)

Education itself is valuable dear... it doesnot matter where u r getting it. It depends upon your keenness how much you want to learn. Good universities never produce good students but only good students make universities valuable. So be good and clear with what you want...
