Default If I don't appear in 2 papers, will I fail?

Last year I didn't appear in LLB Exams of PU because of my Job(I have resigned now) , So, I have prepared somewhat in the last month but was unable to prepare all of the subjects. My question is will I totally fail the exam if I don't appear in these 2 papers??

No brother, you may appear in other five papers leaving these two unattempted.
You will have to pass these unattempted papers in next attempt.
