Why do you want to play with your career? You have done MBA and now you just want to do MS CS just because your city doesn't have a reputed university which offers MS in Finance. You should not go for this honestly speaking. And as far as I know you must have a Masters or Bachelors degree in CS in order to be eligible for MS CS degree. Do a little effort and move out of your city and find a good university else where, don't just confined yourself to your city.

I myself have done MCS, and I could easily figure out that how tough MS(CS) could be for a student who hasn't studied computer science before.

Thumbs up

check for the virtual campus of Comsats university. It offers a number of programs. I am not sure about this program (MS-finance) right now but it was being offered two years back.

I thought you were talking about MS(CS) Yes you can do masters in computer science without having prior knowledge of it. Computer science has become a very common degree and most of the universities are offering a degree in it. It has an advantage that you can easily work from home in your spare time being a freelancer, along your job. So I would say it is a good field but has become quite common. Decision is up to you.

With MBA as your recent qualification, opting for MCS is not a wise choice as MCS curriculum would expect you to have firm grip over rudimentary computer science and also a back ground in computer languages, logic design, networks and basic computer architecture. You should go for MS Finance or Marketing as per your interest and pursue your previous field of studies further.

In islamabad, Quaid-e-Azam University, NUST, Bahria, COMSATS, IIUI are good options.
Lahore has PU on the top. Other options are LSE, FC.
