M.Sc in ERP
AOA,
My eye caught a view of the following program that PAF-KIET is featuring through it's domain. Its a unique proposition, I don't see any other insitution offering a program of such nature purely on the specialization of ERP. Fellow seniors are requested to review it and provide with a short feedback as to what they think about this program whilst advising me as to take admission in this 2 years MSc ERP or 3 year MBA. I am ACCA part qualified, Graduate and in the final stage of LLB. Want to conclude through MBA or any other relavent worthy specialized business field Masters. MSc Enterprise Resource Planning | PAF Karachi Institute of Economics and Technology Also if you think MSc. ERP is worth it, do you think it can suffice for the regular training needed for operating SAP/Oracle platforms. Just go through the course of this program, I think it pretty much trains a person effectively throughout. Specialist & detailed insight shall be appreciated. |

I have relevant exprrience and Im Oracle Certified Professional
----- It isn't worth it. Your ACCA qualification is enough as far as consulting side of the ERP is considered. All you need is experience from an ERP firm. (Not software house). Even after completing this MSc you'll be required to gain hands on experience of implementation so you'll still be standing right here. My advice: If you have the aptitude of information systems and ERP, join any firm as ERP functional consultant/ trainee and work for a minimum of 3 years. In the meantime you can get the certification of ERP solution you are implementing ie. Oracle or SAP. I hope it helps. Sent from my SM-G900W8 using Tapatalk

Actually as I mentioned earlier that I am ACCA "Part Qualified" (means that I am not fully qualified but have qualified several Modules/Papers of it). I don't wish to continue with ACCA in the near future for many reasons. Therefore apart of BCom and LLB I wanted to get an MBA. so now I'l rephrase the same question to you because I believe you know quite about ERP than me that at this point is MBA (3Yr Program) Better or MSc ERP (2Yr). PAF KIET is also offering 1Yr PGD for ERP as well (that leads to 1Yr MSc ERP) |
