Default Procedure of Equivalence Certificate from HEC

Recently I was asked to produce a equivalence certificate of my degree with masters by FPSC. There is also a notification from HEC but it is not acceptable by FPSC.

I am writing the procedure I went through so it can help new comers too.

1) You will need to have with yourself Form E-01 downloaded from HEC website. Fill it up

2) You will need attested photocopies of your educational credentials along with CNIC copy. And your recent photograph.

3) Take originals of above mentioned documents, the officer at equivalence facilitation window will check them and sign your form.

4) You will then submit the required fee in HBL fee collection window. Make a photocopy of your filled application and fee submitted.

5) submit the completed application to the officer who signed your application.

6) Hopefully you will receive the Equivalence Certificate on your address mentioned in Application form.

7) Submit the copy of your equivalence application and fee receipt to FPSC along with an Application that you have applied for equivalence and will immediately submit once you receive it from HEC. So there is no issue if your candidature being rejected.

In how many days, you had received the Equivalence certificate from HEC?
Had you visited Islamabad headoffice?

Have you received the Equivalence Certificate by now? I applied on 20-04-2016 and haven't received any certificate yet. I tried calling them on their phone numbers but no one unfortunately attends it.

Yes, I received it after 15 days. You should visit HEC if possible or send someone.

I've emailed them time and again but to no avail. Yes, I think visiting them in person might help it.

Did you produce it before the interview for case # f - 26 ? Is it mandatory to produce the equivalence certificate for the interview of the said case? They asked for it when they initially demanded documents from candidates who cleared the initial screening test, but since they accepted the certificate of HEC, i didn't bother applying for the equivalence certificate thinking that HEC certificate has sufficed. Now is there a chance of the candidature being rejected on this basis?
