Dear my suggestion is do atleast any cirtification which you can easily. ACCA is better than CA for you. because most of professional cant complete CA easily but ACCA with job you can do. Secondly no doubt PhD Finance a full fledged degree but now days demand pf professional degree or certification is greater.

Go for Phd only if you can do it from abroad. ACCA/ICAP is a better option then doing Phd from a local university as ACCA / ICAP has better scope. The main thing is that market conditions are not got in gulf countries as well just like Pakistan, so no gurantee of a good job even about ACCA / ICAP now a days. Between ACCA / ICAP go for ACCA as it has better scope in UAE but for Pakistan it is not considered better than ICAP. Finally my suggetion will be to go for ACCA as in ICAP articleship is a big hurdle for Job doing persons.

Taking advantage from the on going discussion, I have MBA finance having 2 years of banking experience. Now, please suggest/advice MS Finance/Project Management or ACCA ?

it depends upon or future plans whether u want to continue banking or not?

According to me go for any finance certification as you already holds MBA Finance degree.

I have also found ACCA is better for bankers another option is CFA also. IF u are not strong in Finance then opt MPM its good
