I want to know if MA IR is equivalent to MA political science. Both subjects are overlapping. Can a candidate with MA IR apply for subject specialist or lecturer post of political science? I am talking about the commission test for the said posts.

Plus, one more question: Are private candidates eligible for gold/silver/bronze medal and/or merit certificate if they are position holders?

According to PPSC equivalency, candidate having M.A International Relations can apply for the post of Lecturer Pol Science.

Yes, private candidates are eligible to receive medals for securing top position in University.
