Default Two degrees of Masters from same university

It has started a trend to get multiple degrees of masters to fulfill the criteria of many vacancies.

Is it in favour of a candidate and legal to acquire two masters from the same university?

What are your comments?

I do not think that to do same degrees are illegal as I have not seen anything like this.
You can have as many more degrees as you can.

a person can not get 2 degrees at same time means..... aik saath 2 degrees nahi Parh saktay.....its toatally banned from HEC... and if u get 2 degrees.... student 'll be penalize by banning his/her 1 degree.... matlab keh for example MBA from 2008 to 2010 and MSC 2008 to 2010......it shows 2 degrees at same time... so u will be answerable in any interview(Public or Private)... why u did 2 degrees at same time??... but instead of all this log kartay hein.... i personally knows few who r doing 2 degrees at same time from different universities..... bas yeh hey k Pataa na chalnay doo....... 1 more thing you can do 2 degrees at same time 1 Regular and 1 Private.... for example MBA Regular and MA Economics ( Private).......its legally allow.....

Geting 2 degrees in same/other academic year from same/other university are illegal because in regular university study, you are bound to sign that you are just a student of that single university. 2ndly when you put application for private exam, you also sign that in this academic year you had/will not take exam anywhere else....

Ur question is answered above.

My point of view.
I strongly condem such restrictions on exams. In western educational institues, there are no restrictions on exam. Even you take exam, one paper one year and other next year and pass your degree in 5 years or longer. No restriction is applied on having degrees. You can get how many degrees you want..........

But in Pakistan, angrezon ne hameen 100 saal huqmaran banaya, so they restricted our education to just clerical (non creative/non scientific) education aur sath he pabandi be laga di ke 2 degrees ikathae nahin krni, ta ke koi bohat ziada na parh sake. Magar afsoos to yeh hae ka aab azadi ke 63 saal baad be ham wahi education guami maen haen.........;

Aap bataeen, ke agar aik banda aik university se aik degre morning maen leta hae, aur dosri univ se evening maen degree leta hae, ya same university maen morning aur evening classes se mehnat kr ke 2 degrees aik sath lae leta hae to iss maen burai kia hae? WE SHOULD TRUST OUR MARKING SYSTEM. So if some one gets 2 degrees, he deserves to be honoured instead of saying him ILLEGAL.

In our universities most teachers are non PhD, because of this law. They teach 12 hours in a week and all of remaing time they can use for their PhD, may be from some other university of same city. BUT rules unhen iss cheez ke ijazat nahin dete. Rules kehte haen haen ke it is not possile to work and study togather.........

jiss ne jo krna hae kre, jitni marzi degian lo, Parh kr he li haen na;;;;Koi jali to nahin leen...

It means,we can get only one masters degree from any institution and now HEC has made centralized system.

It means dual record would be hacked by HEC.
Is it right?

So much confusion spread.

One can get as many degrees as one wants to from same institution but in different years. One cannot apply for 2 or more degrees at a same time.
