If you are not 21 than CAT is compulsory and ACCA-I would be exempted after that. B.com you can do along with ACCA or CAT.

Well, ACCA is a leading course but not recognized by HEC yet. You have to obtain a bachelor degree along with it. Yes, you have to commence with CAT as your not eligible. After doing your CAT, First part of ACCA will be exempted.

Anyways, I recommend you to go for BBA from a recognized university. It is much better than other degrees. Prime university life will substantiate your latent finnese and build apposite amount of confidence. However, decision is absolutely yours.

Best of luck !!!

Personally I don't think you should go for both CAT and Bcom. Although you can do ACCA after completing any of them I suggest you to go for Bcom.

CAT unlike ACCA is not recognised in Pakistan. (I was told by some one from ACCA office that ACCA has been recognised by govt of Pakistan). I am doing ACCA after CAT myself but if I can go some years back I would prefer to do Bcom. In UK they recognise CAT as first year of garduation i.e. not graduation in itself. In Pakistan it is merely treated as a precourse for ACCA.

I recommend you to go for two years BCom instead of CAT. After having Bcon degree you can proceed wth ACCA and you will have a recognised bacholars degree.

If you refer to the advertisemnets for accounting jobs they often ask for Bcom but never CAT. CAT has no value in our industry unless you have completed ACCA professional.

CA is a leading degree. it has four levels. after doing 1 level you become equal to b.com and can stop ca and can get degree of b.com from any university.

and after doing 2 levels you become equal to bba or acca and can also claim degree of bba or acca.

and after doing 3 levels you are entitled to mba 16 years of education and can get the degree.

and after completing ca you become m.fill and now your ca degree is equal to m fill 18 years of education and you can also take the degree of mba 18 years.

If you have completed your A-levels or inter you can join CA. In Skans they are offering an accelerated route to BS applied accounting from a Pakistani HEC recognized university for Module B and Module C students. So by the time you get done with your CA inter you'll have a Bachelors degree as well. Further, CA is a prestigious degree and offers attractive career opportunities.
