@ Arcanerk

IELTS from NUML ??? Are you crazy.

I have done MA ENGLISH from NUML LAHORE CAMPUS recently and last year NUML administration started preparation of IELTS and believe you me, when i saw the result sheet of IELTS students which displayed at notice board and none of any student got above 5.5 band in their results and most of the students results were in between 3 band to 5 band,, that result show the incosistency and poor preparation of IELTS , although the faculty of ENGLISH department is very high qualified but none of any teacher dont know how to handle IELTS modules.. So IELTS from NUML, i am not suggesting any body to go for it...

IELTS Preparation!

@Maha,

Well I would like to suggest you also consider the option of 'BETS' while taking the decision of selecting a preparation academy for IELTS. I have many case studies that reflect that an average student can take IELTS Band 7.0 or above by smart tricks offered by 'BETS' during IELTS preparation.

In addition to that If you are comfortable with your English speaking skill set you can also opt for Self Study. Like "Cambridge Practice Tests for IELTS" series 1-4 help you a lot for IELTS preparation.

For general IELTS details you can log onto;

SYEDA SABAHAT Thursday, June 09, 2011 12:34 PM

guys can anyone tell me that there are mostly two options for IELTS,general or acedemic, what is the difference and one should opt for which one?

Usman Cheema Thursday, June 09, 2011 02:51 PM

@Sabahat
If you wish to apply for studying abroad then you are required to qualify the Academic IELTS and if you wish to apply for immigration then you have to do General IELTS.

IELTS Preparation Lahore

Please tell me which is the best IELTS preparation center Lahore.
I am really confused some people are saying that there are PACANS, BETS, SEBS, Kipling and Berlitz. Please tell me which is the best one. I know that band in the IELTS exam depends on a person's overall English, but I will still want an institute which will help me in the best way. I cannot focus at home.

PACIFIC Thursday, November 15, 2012 02:51 AM

have u tried at home.. i mean have u tried to go thru the IELTS 4 books and CDs ?
If not, then try it once ..if still feeling uncomfortable then go for the institution !
