Is English included in social sciences category?
 
can we say that if some one has degree in English...it would be considered as degree in social sciences?

English falls in Humanities or Human Sciences. Linguistic falls in Social Sciences.

no

i have done masters from NUML

they offer Masters in English literature and linguistics only

there are four semesters..in each semester there are five subjects...

we have to study 2 to 3 subjects of linguistics in each semester..they are compulsory for all.
