yar toba as far as i knw it is not possible actually i did m.a eng in 07 n got 48% at that time i never thought to improve but now when i wanted to take admission in mphil i need 50% so i called p.u they said to improve marks a student in given 2 consecutive chances right after the final exam... Like i did in 07 so i had time to improve in 08 n after that 09 as 2nd chance to improve ..... The other best way to improve is to change the university take ur exams through sargodha uni or punjab uni as fresh private candidate..... In sargodha u can take composite exam. But why to improve? Take admission in further course

like u r in lahore u can take admission to do PGD ELT or post graduate diploma in linguistics or m.a linguistics \ ELT ...... Or you cant manage to go for a uni then take admission in TEFL from AIOU last date is 18 march......

Hi guys,
Improving marks is always a good idea to secure one's academic career and professional as well. So far as I know a student has a period of two years after each exam to attempt only one chance of improvement. Remember as per rule there is only one chance of improvement. as you have already spent too much time above the limits. so I'll be very sorry to say that according to rules you can not improve.
But wait! there are always precedents which equally acts like rules in an organisation/institution. As a hope you can check that whether there has been any such case where any student has improved his marks/percentage/grades. For this you have to toil alot and approach a relevant person who is kind and benevolent to you as well as your confidante. I've an example like this before me in my university. we have done MA eng in 2009 after the final exam a friend of mine secured 59 % marks with a single paper of 46 % marks. He attempted as per rule in next semester but failed to improve and as per rule he's not eligible for improvement after availing first chance. But ha had a confidante in Examination section who helped him and support him with a precedent where a student had availed second chance.
You can try as well. But at first just read out your university's academic rules and regulations and then look up for precedent.
At the same time try as well for mphil, PGD or any supporting course of your subject.
I'm praying for your success in this long run and may Allah help you improve your marks. (Ameen)

My regards,
Danish Khan
