You can consult books by Dr.Mehdi Hasan,Abid Tehami,Yousaf or Imtiaz Shahid.Have a look over all of these and choose which seems the best to you.

Assalam o Alikum

I am aresha. I am new on this forum and i do not know how to use this forum. I need help from the other members on the forum. I am doing my graduation from Punjab University Privately. I have selected Political Science as my optional subject. I wanted to ask you people about the books which are currently being prescribed by the university.

Amal Mehboob if you are reading this post plz do reply me as u have already appeared and have done in political science you will be having a better idea about the course outline and the books.

Aresha sorry i have used forum after 5 days so i read your post today. for political science m.sarwar's book are good.they cover whole outline of b.a.one book is for constitution and 2nd one is about theory.

Yes arabic is scoring optional subject. I had 93 marks in arabic.

If a need arises to go or change the medium to Urdu, which book will be superb for Political science, Pak study, islamiat and journilism?

I would recommend not to change urdu medium from english medium if you are wishing to appear in css after B.A

Islamiat and pak studies are taught in Urdu at government colleges so you can easily take them from a book shop.
For Journalism,I read "Sahafat" by Saleem Akhter and another book by "Mehdi Hasan".
It will be better if you make your own notes by consulting newspapers and T.V channels.

Dear Members,I am doing B.A as a private candidate from Punjab University and only 4 months are remaining for the preparation before the final exams ,And i have started it now because I was a science student and have done fsc ,so I was preparing to go abroad after fsc but unfortunately did not do so,and was not expecting doing ba but circumstances forced me to do so .Now I need help and guidance from the css aspirants who have done BA and from members also.Please provide me some notes or material related to my subjects.
1.Pol Science [elective]
2.Arabic [elective]
3.persian [optional]
And also tell me some tips ,how to get great marks in these subjects in this short time.
