You have to pass 5 papers in first attempt at least. The next supply exam will be taken after 6 months i.e Sep/Oct 2012.

Annual or semester system does not apply on external candidates. The system for them is different.

i called english dept numl they told me that papers held in july ....whts that is it in july or april i am confused

According to my information, there are vacations in July in NUML. Exams for external students takes place in April, May. Then in Sep, Oct.

today i called them again they were telling new story that if ur doing fresh masters then u have to enroll in june and give papers in august .... take ur syllabus in feb....i think i shud visit numl personally otherwise ..am going to lost admissions ......

AoA Arjumand !

Please visit NUML Islamabad Exam Department personally as early as possible. I also need this information. Tell them clearly that you want to take exam as a private candidate. Then ask them about the time and month to send admissions and month of examination.

NUML has been taking exam in April/May and then Sep/Oct for external students for several years. Please ask them that have they changed their private exam months.

Do let me know. I am anxiously waiting.

Your information is right. NUML has changed its policy absolutely.

1. Syllabus is going to be changed. It will be available from NUML Islamabad and regional campuses in February.

2. It will take a time of two years to complete Private Masters from NUML.

3. Exam will take place in August 2012 for Part 1.

4. Exam will take place in August 2013 for Part 2.

5. Enrollment will be done in June 2012 for this exam.

well...am glad i got right information but will visit university personally.... but the syllabus they are displaying on website is it correct or some other syllabus gonna come..

Syllabus will remain the same. Few portions will be deducted. They will divide the full course in two portions , to take exam in two phases.

Thanks for giving right information.

You can get the syllabus in Feb 2012. Work is going on in university on the division of course for external candidates.
