[FONT=Arial Black][SIZE=3][I]If I had to sum up my reason to apply for this in one sentence, it would be "I need to
know more". Conceiving new ideas and developing systems which would deliver that
promise is a personal goal I have set for myself ever since I was admitted to the
Electronics Engineering at NFC IET Multan, PK. Vision of any person, organization or
institution is the basic phenomenon which paves the way to progress and prosperity. I
believe that academic growth is a process of constant evolution. Fueled by my passion for
science, I am excited and prepared for the challenges and opportunity brought forward by
higher education.
My undergraduate studies helped me to realize my potential and the wonderful and exciting
opportunities the field of Electrical Engineering. Courses related to Machines,Electronics,
power, Computer architecture, and Micro processors systems served as a source of
inspiration for me. They not only inspired and motivated me to work hard to develop a
sound theoretical foundation, but also stimulated me to work on numerous projects to
broaden my understanding of engineering principles. Being the part of the project of a
robotic arm for my college 3rd year project strengthened my technical skills and turned
out to be a converging point for my objectives.
A wise man once said, "If one does not know to which port one is sailing, no wind is
favorable". Although I had done major in Electronics Engineering that’s why, I have
sound knowledge in Electrical Engineering. I looked forward to a career in research
and development. Consequently, I ended up working as a Support Engineer (Data
Comm.) at Pakistan Education and Research Network, a project of
Higher Education Commission Islamabad Pakistan. Although my current job is
challenging and given me tremendous exposure to design tools, I seek to take the next
step in the realization of my goals. Higher education is the main key which can improve
thinking ability, approach towards new horizons, and development of new ideas, transfer
them in pragmatic solutions and achieving the goals by maximizing the output. I have
always aspired to constantly evolve myself as a professional as well as a researcher. I
believe I am in the perfect position to realize this aim and extend my knowledge in this
field.
My decision to pursue higher studies is highlighted by my wish to be part of this
excellent and well-rounded M.Sc Electrical Engineering programme. I would regard my
admission not only as a great honor and success but also as an obligation for hard work. It
will help me to sharpen my weak areas, strengthen my concepts and practical experience
for such a demanding technology. I intend to pursue a more research-oriented career and
continue my education by going for a PhD. My research interests include
power,Communication systems, Microcontroller, and real-time systems for control and
automation and refining programming paradigms for intelligent systems.[/I][/SIZE][/FONT]
