subject selection for Masters

Respected seniors, recently i have passed bachelors examination and now i am thinking of masters.I will appear in css exams in 2015.I want to choose a subject for masters which should be helpful for me in css.I have these options in my mind economics, philosophy, public administration ,buisness administration, sociology, journalism.I want to know which is the most high scoring subject. My elective subjects in bachelors were journalism and economics.Personally i am intrested in economics.I need your guidance in this regard.your suggestions means alot to me.:excl:my communication skill is not so good so sorry for the mistakes which i have commited.waiting for your quick response. Thanks!

Well as far as scoring trend for particular subjects is concerned it does not remain same every year, it keeps on changing so you should not keep this factor in mind while doing masters as CSS is not the only one option you have. Masters degree will be helping you in determining your future career path hence at least for a single time you should think about it by keeping css aside.

For example economics is rough and dry subject and in css its not that much scoring but as far as future is concerned it opens variety of jobs.

Currently Sociology, journalism, psychology, geography, International law, Muslim law are scoring subjects.

I'll suggest you to go for masters in either Public Admin or Sociology. Wish you best of luck.

Tayyaba ! Not any specific subject can help you in CSS.If you have interest in literature,I would suggest you to go for M.A English Literature. It would help you in every way as you know English is basic requisite for CSS.Literature would not only broaden your vision but also polish your writing skill.

Thank you so much Farrah, but actually i am not interested in literature i think if i do masters in public admin or in sociology my writing skill and english will be improved automatically,

That is your choice:)

No.English literature can't be compared with any other subject. You are confusing it.Those subjects would have 'medium' of English but they themselves are not subjects of English. Therefore, neither they can compete English literature regarding vocabulary nor they can broaden one's vision to such an extent that one can observe different dimensions of a particular topic.
Let me be more precise,English literature is a vast subject;it deals with psychology, sociology, history, science and many other subjects.

Anyways,All the best for Sociology/Public Ad :)

if ur prime motto is to be a CSP then give time to its preparation rather than going for masters, think over it :thinking

Yes you should go for masters. Its utmost important that the education should be completed otherwise it becomes difficult to complete it in pursuance of job. It broadens your mental level and explores many ways. Still you have a lot time, I'll suggest you to make your mind for CSS from this point forward and side by side improve english and start taking interest in general knowledge, current affairs etc.

Yes sure, If you need to discuss more my email ID is in my profile. Public Admin is also a good field of studies not only for future career but also for CSS point of view. Insha'allah you'll have a good future career. Wish you best of luck.
