you can do your degree but legally you cant use both degrees at same time...
but most of the time you need not to use both of the degrees simultaneously...
one more thing is you can get 1st division easily but it is difficult to grab 1st division from p.u...
so, its better to do another m.a from uos and use any of them accordingly..
suppose you are applying for lectureship in ppsc you can apply for both showing one of respective degree without disclosing second one...

@amna
1.I was just intended to inform people about the right thing...number of people might have lost the chance to do m.a in one year if i had not communicated the correct information...if good number of people are being misguided by someone should we call him sensible..
2.Moderators are supposed to be guide rather than dictators..

First of all you need to get NOC from the university you are currenty registered in only then you can appear in composite exam from uos.Now as u mentioned you are yet to appear in m.a english part 2 from pu then how will u get noc from pu? I am afraid its not possible in your case. Either you have to anandon your ongoing degree from pu or drop the idea of appearing from uos. 2ndly why are you bent upon getting so many degrees? Look for excellence in one subject rather than accumulating master degrees in different subjects.

As a private candidate you did not required a NOC.

Although its not legal but most of the people do this. in case if you go with this scheme like you mentioned above than in future you need to be careful about mentioning your degrees which i suggest you to mention only one degree on such places which are much interested in the years of completion and both where no one demanded the dates.

I have done BBA(Hons) from UOS as a regular candidate and recently gave paper of MA political science as a private candidates for part one. my last paper was on 14 of this month.
my one friend did not submitted his NOC but he is giving paper.

Yes he is the alive example in front of me. UOS did not rejected him for the exams on the basis of NOC unavailability. May be they ask for this document at the time of Issuing Degree...
