hello members, i am a graduate student with gp 2.3... now i want to do masters in computer science from lums(Tough having no background in computer science)... please people suggest your ideas ..lums studies are said to be very difficult mostly the creem of our students go there.....will i be able to compete in such a competitive environment?

can anyone guide me according to his/her opinion

Certainly yes, you can compete in any envirnement as long as you believe in your abilities and you can better judge your abilities than anyone would ever do so.
The first thing you need to check is to verify your eligibilty for the programme, having done so successfully you would require to prepare for the entry test and by that time you would be able to gage where you fall on the competitive ladder.

ok thanks alot if there is any lums student than please do reply.. obviously my past concept wont be very good as my gp illustrates so wanted to ask it could effect my masters

GPA dosen't truly reflect the concepts of a student about a subject. I have seen people with low GPA but a sound foundation of the concepts about a particular subject. Even if you think like your concepts are not so good you can improve them by extensive reading. That requires hard work and self fighting. I hope you would spent for that.

anyone from lums can guide me the difficulty level of computer science? any old question papers ...or guideline of making ...
