Why my thread was removed?

I uploaded a thread about general knowledge videos in off topic lounge, but it was removed. May I know the reason that when it was related to general knowledge, then why admins removed that? Sorry to say, but instead of showing such rigidness you should show some soft corner.

However, it is against the rules of the forum to share YouTube video links here. I hope you understand the point.

It's alright, YouTube links should not be allowed, but I think links of videos having only educational content should be allowed. Because on CSS Forum there is no option to directly upload a video. If you find something out of exam preparation, then you may delete the thread. Sorry to say, but if sharing of YouTube link is not allowed, then why there is a button of "Wrap [YOUTUBE] tags around selected text" in the top of posting thread option? :)

There is my understanding behind the deletion of YouTube post. Not all the members started thread have same understanding of exam like you and they keep on promoting their channel here for the sake of subscription. You can scroll down the forum and see by yourself the below the par material they have shared in the name of exam preparation channels. I personaly have studied your articles published in JWT and learn a lot from you. Here the only point was to contain unnecessary promotional content.
Once again i am sorry for deleting your thread. Keep spreading the knowledge the way you like.

It's second time that my thread is removed. May I know the reason? Did I upload anything other than exam preparation?
