1st cut the cake across the top. (vertically)

Second,cut it again across the top. It should look like an X from above and be in 4 large slices.again cut vertically

Third, cut the cake long-ways in half, so that each of those 4 pieces are half of their original height. (now cut horizontally )

You are right.


IF 1+3+5+7+9+11+13+15+17+19=100
then omit any 5 numbers to produce 50 by addition of remaining 5 numbers.

Addition of 5 odd numbers can never produce an even digit. Therefore, unless it is a play of words, you cannot get 50 by adding any set of 5 odd numbers.

Addition of odd numbers can not produce even number unless these (odd numbers) are even in number
