frnds here i ve another silly question:D...but i m asking it seriously

Q:if me and you we both are seeing a red flower
then is it possible that it looks me as its original red colour and u r seeing that colour wd a lilttle diffrence ......
in simple words is it possible that two person are observing same colour but this colour is dull for a person about 1% dull ...and 1% bright for other person....but they both are saying its red colour............

i dnt knw wt should be the question...but it was circulating in my mind tu main ne poch lia

hahhaha

any other possiblity???????need ans as regarding physics laws and rules??????

Andy Pandy Tuesday, June 02, 2009 10:20 AM

@ Ravalia
i am just making a guess but i know thats not a logical answer. one reason is my be COLOR BLINDNESS.
& 2NDLY there might be an influence of difference in reletive distance of lenght wrt both observers which may effect the sharpness or brightness of that particular color.

Predator Tuesday, June 02, 2009 10:23 AM

another possibility..........

Different people have different numbers and proportions of cone cell color photoreceptors in their retinas, and thus will see colors differently.

ravaila Tuesday, June 02, 2009 10:24 AM

yup andy pandy
your 2nd guess seems right
but according to colour blindness ...red coulour looks i think os brown colour

@predator
its guess or u r 100% sure

Crying in Space

What an interesting question! I've just contacted our astrophysicist expert Dr. Tom, and he wants you to know that it would indeed be possible for an astronaut to cry in space. Unfortunately, their tears would not fall from their eyes, or roll down their cheeks, due to the microgravity environment. Instead, the tears would cling to the surface of the eye, then pool, and would eventually have to be wiped away. As you may know, liquids act very differently in a microgravity environment than they do here on Earth. Rather than spilling into a puddle on the ground, they float in a little ball. While it would be quite fun to float around chasing your balls of apple juice or coffee through the Space Station, it's not very safe. Liquids could get into the electronics and equipment, and cause problems. It would also be just plain messy! Astronauts drink their liquids through a straw. They also have rinseless shampoo and edible toothpaste so that excess water isn't a problem.
As for crying in space...Dr. Tom says that there are too many cool things to see and do while living and working in space. What could there possibly be to cry about?!
